I first discovered calligraphy as a teenager. Having always been drawn to art, I was instantly captivated by the precision, grace, and quiet beauty of the pointed pen. When I began university, I bought my first nib and holder, and quickly found myself spending more time practising letterforms than studying. What started as curiosity became devotion.
As calligraphy felt increasingly like a lost art, I felt a strong desire to help preserve and share it. I began documenting my journey through @charlotte.script(formerly @charlottescript) .
Charlotte Script grew into one of the largest calligraphy platforms in the world. My work reached millions, resonating for its distinctive, refined style. I collaborated with clients and global brands, developed educational resources, and taught workshops globally, helping thousands begin their own calligraphy journey.
Taking a break...
After transitioning into corporate life, I found myself burnt out trying to balance a conventional career alongside a growing creative business. Somewhere along the way, I lost touch with the passion that had first inspired Charlotte Script. A few years ago, I chose to pause, to travel, to reflect, and to rediscover what truly fulfills me.
Now, as I return to Charlotte Script, I do so with clarity and intention. I'm open to projects that align with my creative values — work that feels thoughtful, personal, and meaningful. For me, it's no longer about growth for the sake of growth, but about pouring my heart into each piece and creating something truly beautiful and memorable every time.
